The 3D Column Schedule Model

Steel and Concrete column schedule drawings are generated by calculating extraction views from two intermediate 3D column configuration models (one for steel and one for concrete). The Analysis Column Schedules Template drawing definition uses the appropriate section cut plane locations to process the 3D models in a similar fashion as used to generate lateral elevation drawings.Advantages of using the same method for generating column schedule drawings are:

  • Consistency
  • Uses existing Structural rules for resymbolization and labeling of the column configurations
  • Supports user-defined Structural attributes
  • Supports custom (VBA) Structural resymbolization rules

Structural column schedules processes automatically create these 3D models with the unique column configurations. The models are named Steel Column Schedule 3D Model and Concrete Column Schedule 3D Model.Column schedule 3D model characteristics:

  • The 3D model contains one instance of each column configuration copied from the original Structural model.
  • The column trees are spaced at regular intervals along a line.
  • Sloped column members present in the 3D model are filtered out from the actual drawing, and are replaced with a symbol element.
  • The 3D column model is recreated whenever changes to the Structural model are round tripped. Also when changes to the drawing settings require new column arrangements.
警告: The 3D column schedule models are intended to be column schedule processing aides only. They should not be edited.
